In support of Climate week, on the 26th March, Friends of Holly Hayes Wood planted an Avenue of trees with help from their members and friends from Saint John the Baptist Church.
The group were thinking that this would take all weekend, but with all the support we had on the day for the Climate week project we did the job in one day we had a very wide age group.
It was very nice seeing this wide age group of people working together, and the group would like to thank all those who helped on the day and Leicestershire County Councils Free Tree scheme for the trees.
